Stunning Skyline
The modern, 2200 square feet, four bedroom condo is located in the Coal Harbour waterfront area, which connects the downtown core to Stanley Park in the West. Taking advantage of the amazing 29th floor location, the new open concept design literally sets new heights for city skyline panoramas.
Optimizing the modern vistas, the owners collaborated with the designer to create a new, open concept kitchen that would brighten the entire home, giving the floor to ceiling windows a starring role. The kitchen was completely re-done with all new fixtures and surfaces chosen to compliment and highlight the revealed sweeping surround downtown views.

...Ranch Redux
Relocating the dining area from the living room to a multi-purpose room relieved this Lexington ranch of its cramped spaces and allowed us to create a dynamic, flowing new interior featuring a dropped paneled ceiling plane which defines the dining area, custom cabinetry for a new entertainment center and unique sliding glass panels to contain the clamor of Sunday football.

Modern Kitchen
Uninspired, cramped and dated, this kitchen demanded a complete overhaul. Blending the kitchen and dining room into a single open space helped to complete the transformation.
The existing kitchen had to be completely gutted. New flooring was installed, along with new maple oak cabinetry, quartz counter top and ceiling pot lights. Combined with new stainless steel appliances, the revamp truly effects a modern look. Opening up the room by removing the wall between kitchen and dining room allowed for the two spaces to become fully integrated.
For future entertaining endeavours, the chef can interact with the guests seated at dining room table – creating a more lively hosting experience.

...Tuscan Retreat
Definitely ‘stuck in the 80’s’, the old basement layout was compartmentalized causing a closed-in and cramped feeling. The homeowners desired a retreat space with ease of movement from one area to another for entertaining and relaxing with family or friends.
The homeowners dreamed of a basement reminiscent of their favorite vacation getaway in Little Palm Island, in the Florida Keys. They desired a warm “Bermuda/Polynesian/Tommy Bahama” look and feel exuding comfort, and relaxation with style and luxury. They also were looking for an avenue to exhibit favored keepsakes gathered during their vacation travels.
Now the entire floor takes on a fresh and warm glow, with touches of elegance and sophistication. What had been numerous separated compartments now flow together with warmth and charm in one luxurious terrace retreat.

“Our motivation was to create a “retreat in the style of British Colonial that would simulate a ‘vacation at home’! Our Contractor gave us access to our pool along with the pleasure of enjoying our terrace as a retreat! My favorite part is the feel; it’s like going somewhere different whenever you go downstairs! Our Contractor was able to ‘see’ the whole concept of what we wanted, rather than just moving walls and putting in different flooring. They were much more creative than a ‘normal’ redesign company!”

...Grand Kitchen Reno
Styled after a Shaker Revival/Transitional aesthetic, this striking new kitchen appropriately belongs to a condo in a landmark building designed by James K.M. Cheng Architects in the Coal Harbour area of downtown Vancouver. The “Vancouverism” architectural style stemmed from the types of buildings designed by Cheng; one of the aims is to “preserve corridors” as the city’s downtown skyline (a popular nickname is City of Glass) is notable for the multitude of glass skyscrapers and is a source of pride for locals. The Shaker Revival interior marries well to the soaring building. Use of the principles elements of the style including: functionality, simplicity and use of dark, rich colours along side handcrafted furniture and natural materials has created a stunning, awe-inspiring room of grandiose beauty.
